I often ask Liberty, “how did you get to be so pretty?” with a huge smile on her face she says, “God made me that way!” yes, ma’am!
this baby was crying a lot but the sprouts, namely Sterling, managed to calm him. baby’s Daddy was seriously impressed & very thankful!
caught a glimpse of this today… Sterling was reenacting a scene from Fireproof. 😉

you’re invited to join me @ SheReadsTruth.com for a study of women in the New Testament. #shereadstruth
saw this ad on the subway. unfortunately, Chic-Fil-A is NOT here… though their look alike sign is! for lunch we did hotpot. who knew there could be so many yummy sauces!?! & lastly, after 8 years I still continue to be impressed with their bike loading abilities!
today the mister & I had a little date… with Monopoly Deal. unfortunately he had no mercy. it was painful. that is until we picked the sprouts up & Sterling asked, “mommy, did you get married?” apparently my new $3 dress impressed him! made me feel special… & a bit convicted that I really should start trying to look/dress better for the big & little man in my life!

VIDEO: introducing (creative) scuba diver Sterling!
VIDEO: God made her…. me… you… that way! Genesis 1: we are made in God’s image & He’s determined we are good! Psalm 139: we are fearfully & wonderfully made & His works are wonderful! believe His word & rejoice at His goodness!
Sterling was checking out his muscles in the mirror when he asked Jarod if he could be strong too. He was happy to oblige… 😉
#candid #precious #timeless #priceless
broken fridge. ice is holding our food hostage. parts for it are no longer made. time to buy a new one. 😦 in the meantime it may also be time to hire our neighbor who gifted the sprouts dumplings, which meant my chicken enchilada casserole was totally abandoned.
for the love of seaweed… ;). yep, she’s gonna miss this layered green salty goodness!
beautiful evening light burst. #nofilter
these days the sprouts like to play “family”… which means I’m constantly hearing them call my name & when I respond they are constantly telling me they weren’t calling for me… but the “baby” was calling for its “mommy”. oooooooh!
Jarod told the sprouts we could “watch” after dinner (a real treat) but they opted instead to go outside. I was tempted to run a victory lap! 😉
local ratio: 3 grandparents, 1 mama & 1 baby. oh yes, & 1 massive remote control car for said baby. *usually it’s 4 grandparents per child.
I was admiring the freehand painted flowers when Jarod pointed out the English translation of the name of the restaurant: Bashan Daddy Buck King. uh, ok. 🙂
Madre, here’s your proof! 😉

VIDEO: reading part 2: goodbye Emily!
love. not a perfect day, but certainly worth celebrating!
yep, this book sums up our day. even so, I still think I have the best “job” in the World!
there are certainly benefits to being so stinkin’ cute!
little miss Liberty… soon to be headed to the west side where (according to Sterling) her statue resides (statue of Liberty)! of course he was clever enough to come up with his own “statua” – him holding a fork in the air with a single green bean hanging limply across it! #USA
tonight’s dinner: the things Jarod’s not so fond of – salmon & chick pea salad. delicious!!! funny to see such a luxurious meal being served on plastic plates for the sprouts!
look what I finished tonight! fun, scrunchy scarf! *please excuse the cheesy phone pic
VIDEO: the unexpected: baby orca
today Sterling got a brief visual introduction to our family history.
let the twirling commence!!! #1st
the sprouts sharing a sweet moment on the subway. sibling love.
we love public transportation! saturdays mean crowded subway & bus! us girls especially loved our front row view!
2 of Liberty’s (recent) favorite toys waiting for her to finish eating breakfast: her baby & ball. apparently our girly fetish for tiny items begins early! 😀
rainy day, in need of an umbrella & 2 hands. so i broke out the almost forgotten ergo. pretty handy! 😉
today Sterling was gifted this build & play pinball toy. apparently it’s really fun when you’re the one building & playing… but much less so for those of us constantly being interrupted by the metal balls running through it or while the contraption constantly collapses. of course, there’s also the loud sounds if disappointment every time it falls over.
