five sentence friday #32

this year we spent THANKSgiving with my parents.

not out of the realm of normal for most Americans to “share” the holidays with their extended family, but certainly out of our realm of normal.

my parents provided the turkey – trash can turkey to be more specific – it was awesomely tender, juicy & delicious!

i spent the majority of my time time s-l-o-w-l-y slicing & dicing (read: i am NOT a real chef)… & standing in the kitchen.

the sprouts watched the macy’s THANKSgiving day parade advertisement… & we all enjoyed stuffing ourselves like a turkey!
